DESIGN MEETS FUNCTION.

For small service businesses

Business websites · Workflow automation · Integration repair

01 / WEBSITE DESIGN

A business worth noticing.
A website to match.

Clear information. A distinct visual identity. A considered experience, from the first screen to the next step.

CEDAR & FIELDLANDSCAPING WEBSITE · CONCEPT

The screens explore on their own. Scroll either one to take over.

Designed around the next step.

Two service businesses. Two distinct directions. Explore how we bring the services, visual identity, and contact path together in each concept.

  • Responsive desktop and mobile layouts
  • Clear services and a visible contact path
  • Keyboard access and reduced-motion support

Concept only. Contact details are inactive; no request is sent or saved.

02 / WHERE HEXMARK HELPS

Websites, workflows,
and connected tools.

Hire Hexmark for a website, standalone workflow automation, or integration repair—including work on your existing website and tools. Our optional starting package combines a small business website with one workflow for customer requests.

Business websites

We build or improve a clear, mobile-friendly site that explains your services and gives customers a way to get in touch.

For example Replace an outdated service page with clear information and a way to request a quote.

Workflow automation

We automate routine steps such as recording information, sending notifications, and passing details between your tools. You can hire us for automation without a new website.

For example Save a customer request in your spreadsheet or customer system and notify the business owner.

Integration repair

We investigate connections that fail, lose information, or repeat actions. Our repair work focuses on a problem we can reproduce and test in the systems you already use.

For example Find why a data sync creates duplicate records in your customer system.

FROM THE WEBSITE TO THE WORKFLOW

A clear next step.
Behind the scenes, too.

A customer request should reach the right place. This proposed example shows how a website can connect to the tools a business already uses.

We can scope this as part of a website project or as standalone automation on an existing site.

PROPOSED WORKFLOW EXAMPLE01 / CUSTOMER REQUEST

Quote requested

A visitor submits the website form.

01

Request saved.

The customer’s details are saved in your spreadsheet or customer system.

02

Owner notified

The owner gets an email or another agreed notification.

03

Confirmation sent

The customer receives confirmation that the request was received.

04

One automation example, not a client project. We agree steps, tools and checks before starting. Customer confirmations depend on scope and tool support.

03 / SELECTED ENGINEERING WORK

Independent engineering project · Data collector

When two records
are really the same one.

A job-listing collector could retain the same listing twice because each source assigned a different ID.

The collector compares company names, job titles, and descriptions to recognize the same listing across different sources.

Verified offline with synthetic records on September 7, 2026. This demonstrates a specific safeguard, not a client deployment or a guarantee that every duplicate is detected.

THE CHECK 4 checks passed

Test the duplicate.
Protect the distinct record.

Different source IDs, same example listing
One record retained
Same title, different example employer
Both records retained

The narrow demonstration ran against the actual merge implementation. Matching rules still need to be agreed and tested for each business’s data.

04 / WORKING TOGETHER

Start with a clear scope.

We agree what you need, what’s included, and how we’ll check the result.

  1. 01

    Talk through what you need

Tell us about your business, the website or tools you use, and what you want to build, automate, or fix. We use the initial conversation to establish fit.

  2. 02

    Define the work

We define the website pages, automation, or integration repair, the content and access needed, and how we’ll test the result. An uncertain integration failure may need a separately scoped paid investigation.

  3. 03

    Build, verify, and hand off

We build the agreed work, test the relevant pages, links, and workflow steps, and document how to manage the result. We scope any ongoing support separately.

The scope depends on your content, existing systems, available access, and any third-party services needed. We check these dependencies before committing to the work.
